Morgan Smith

Morgan Smith (she/they) is a Director of System Transformation at Clutch Consulting Group, bringing an extensive background in direct service delivery, process improvement coaching, and systems thinking. Before joining Clutch, Morgan was a System Improvement Advisor for Community Solutions’ Built for Zero movement, where she coached communities throughout the West Coast toward reductions in Veteran and Chronic homelessness. Morgan also supported planning and implementation of Direct to Housing Encampment Response in three communities, laying the foundation for the organization’s unsheltered portfolio in collaboration with Clutch. As a coach and community leader, Morgan aligns local leadership, service providers, and people with lived experience toward collective impact goals to make meaningful system improvements. Morgan balances a rigorous commitment to action in the face of the crisis of unsheltered homelessness, with the complex and long-term change needed to build sustainable homelessness response systems. Prior to their work in the homelessness sector, Morgan worked in international development doing peacebuilding work in Southeast Asia.
