Allison Winston

Allison Winston, MSW, is a Senior Field Implementation Specialist with Clutch Consulting Group, bringing more than a decade of experience in homeless response systems, with a focus on unsheltered homelessness and system improvement.  

Prior to joining Clutch in 2026, Allison worked at Community Solutions, where she coached communities across the country in efforts to reduce unsheltered and veteran homelessness. Before Community Solutions, she spent much of her career working in direct service roles in Charlotte, North Carolina, including in street outreach, a day services center and a large emergency men’s shelter. She later worked in HMIS administration and helped launch a civilian alternative response program within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department addressing unsheltered homelessness and behavioral health 911 calls. 

Allison earned her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor’s degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She brings a practitioner’s perspective to her work, balancing a systems-level view with a strong understanding of what it takes to implement change on the ground.
